Errol was born in Port Elizabeth in 1950. He attended Pearson High School where he matriculated in 1968.

Having a few months to spare before National Service, he showed an interest in oil painting and has never lost that interest. 

He lives in Pretoria and has been since 2000. 

He has been teaching on the use of colour in oil painting and running courses at a farm venue in Heidelberg for a few years now.

Errol is very grateful to all the people who have supported his art by buying paintings, books and attending the weekend courses.

However, Errol has many other passions;
One of which is creating furniture, he does repairs, sharpens tools/drill bits …and almost anything to a high standard.

It is important for him to “Do it right”.

Should you ever need anything, his workshop can deliver; if not, he has the integrity to tell you. He does not take chances. 

More and more one needs people who are prepared to do the small tasks. 

There is hope, if all else fails.
